Hailing from Copenhagen, Danish producer Vera has slowly been making a name beat-making for the likes of Off Bloom, Liss and Goss. After returning from tour with Liss, Vera returned to work on a huge bank of his own material, the first fruits of which are ‘In And Out Of Love’. His production style is both minimal and moody, with warped beats and a wailing sax supporting breathy vocals from a nameless feature. The effect of this conjures up the smoky haze of a late-night European jazz bar, and leaves us in no doubt that Vera can produce some exceptional alt. pop. We can only hope that having already picked up support from FADER, Vera continues to produce more solo material. -HM
